Foreign Nationals:-All the courses being conducted at CATC are in the form of Standardized Training Packages (STPs) or Standardized Training Guidelines (STGs) with well-defined course objectives.

These courses are well suited for domestic and foreign nationals in the profession of Air Traffic Control and Communication, Navigation& Surveillance.

The training comprises various techniques such as class room lecture, case study, discussion/conference, films/video, programmed instruction, individualized instruction, practical in labs, exercises on simulators, and computer assisted learning, and on the job training at field stations. Keeping in view the human factor and ICAO requirements, training package is meticulously developed and delivered so as to be acceptable internationally.

Besides imparting job centered training in the field of CNS/ATM, CATC has capability to organise the Course Development Workshop(CDW) to train instructors in the art of development of standardized training packages using TRAINAIR methodology. Instructional Technique-Instructors Development Programme (IT-IDP) courses are also conducted to train new instructors in instructional techniques.

Courses are also reviewed periodically to ensure that their content is relevant and meet national and international standards.
